5 Days Of Enjoyment (Part 1)

5 Days Of Enjoyment

This story is based on my experiences during Pongal in Dontikurru, a typical village of the region popularly known as Konaseema. It is in East Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh. This place is very beautiful with greenery all around and away from all the traffic jams and pollution of cities. The Konaseema region is famous for un-ending rows of coconut trees, green paddy fields and the canals passing through the villages. The situations and the characters are fictitious. I thank my parents, grandparents and uncle for encouraging me to write this story.  Hope you enjoy this story.

Dontikuru Rock Stars Group

“I am getting bored.” said Venkat

Venkat Tadi is 10 year old and he is from Amalapuram, a nearby town. He is the youngest of the group. He is a very cute boy and so innocent that anyone can fool him. Everyone in the group loves him very much. He is the most hurried guy in the group.

“Don’t be in hurry. Pongal is still two days away.” said Sarala.

Sarala Tadi is 14 year old and she lives in Kakinada, a beach  town 50 kilometers from Dontikurru. She is a good girl and she is a big chatterbox in the group.

“I almost forgot that day after tomorrow is Pongal.” said Ramkrishna.

Ramkrishna Mukundha is 14 years old from  Kandikupa, a village joined to Dontikuru not just geographically but also by the family relations. He is the local boy of the group. He has a well maintained body with big muscles. He is most hardworking guy in their group. His only weakness is that he always forgets things easily.

“You always forget things like a dementia  patient. It should be a big hit with so much fun.” said Narayan.

Narayan Krishna is 15 years old from Chennai, Tamil Nadu as his father is working there. His hometown is in Andhra. He is the oldest  in the group. He knows little-little Tamil. This fella is very intelligent . He is very thin and gives an impression that even gentle wind can make him fly.. He is a good dancer too.

“Like last time, from tomorrow we have to start collecting wood and money from everyone.” said Abhiram

Abhiram Chaitanya is 13 years old from London.. He is the most hi-tech boy in the group. He has a Dell Laptop, a PSP, an Apple IPod, an Apple IPad, etc. With love, everyone in the group call him Master Europe.

“Can I give you an advice? We can collect wood today and money tomorrow.” said Sarita.

Sarita Tadi is 13 years old and lives in a nearby village, Anantavaram. She always gives good advices to everyone. She is the only girl who thinks very much.

“I can’t come to collect wood today. It is already 5’00 pm. It will be dark very soon.” said Manika.

Manika Tadi is 12 years old and lives in Rajahmundry, the business capital for East Godavari district.. She is a good girl with good manners. She knows cooking and makes delicious food.

Narayan said, “We will collect wood and money tomorrow only.”

 ------------------------------------------------------
1st Day...

Date: 12 Jan’ 2011
Narayan was the first one to get up and ready to collect money and dry wood. He first went to Ramkrishna’s grandparents’ house.

“Namaste, Tatagaru (grandpa). Has Ram woke up?” asked Narayan.

“Not yet, ra.” answered Grandpa.

“Can I wake him please? It’s urgent.” asked Narayan.

“Sure.”

“Hey Ram wake up. Ram wake up.”, said Narayan to Ramkrishna.

At last Ram opened his eyes a little and said with a sleepy voice, “Narayan, no one must have woken up till now as it is vacations.”

Narayan was going to say something when he heard Sarala’s voice from behind him.

She said, “Hey Ram, everyone is waiting for you outside. Even Venkat woke up before you.”

“OK I will be coming outside in half an hour.” said Ram.

He hurried to the bathroom and Sarala went out. Narayan did not go out as he was waiting for Ram.

After 5 minutes Ram came out of the bathroom and went to kitchen. His grandma came out of the kitchen and gave 5 idlies to him. Narayan first wished his grandma by saying Namaste and then went to Ram and asked him whether he could eat all 5 idlies easily.

He said, “Yes, Why? Can’t you eat 5 idlies?”

“No I can’t. I always eat only 1 idli.” said Narayan.

“That’s why you are so thin?” said Ram.

“Yeah.”, said Narayan.

Ram finished all the idlies and they both went out where all others were waiting. Subash uncle, Teja uncle, Prakash annaya (big brother) were also there.

Narayan went to them and asked why they were also here.

Prakash annaya said, “I thought you were collecting wood for the Bhogi Bonfire.”

“Yes we are.” said Ram.

Subash uncle said, “In my farm there are 3 small dead trees which may be useful. Any two of you can carry each tree. We will also help you in carrying wood.”

“Yes let’s go then.” said Sarala.

“I and Europe can carry the trees. Can you Master Europe?” said Ram

“Yes I can.”, said Abhiram.

They all went to Subash uncle’s farm by walk. When they reached the farm 3 trees were laid on the ground.

Venkat said, “These trees are very small that even I can carry them.”

“These may look small but their weight is too much for you to carry.”, said Teja uncle.

“I understand.” said Venkat.

Ram and Abhiram first picked up the smallest one. It was very light so they gave it to Narayan and Manika to carry.

They picked up another log which seemed smaller to them than the 3rd one. It was also light enough so they gave it to Sarala and Sarita.

Then picked up the third and final log. Its weight was correct for them as it was what they expected.

Venkat cried, “I also want to carry something.”

Prakash uncle gave him some small dry branches which had fallen down on the ground.

Venkat quickly took them and thanked Prakash uncle for his offer.

They all began their march towards their headquarters.

After 10 minutes they reached their headquarters.

The headquarters was an isolated house. In front of it there was a small ground where they could store the wood which they collected.

They threw the trees there. Venkat neatly placed his branches near the trees.

Sarala said, “Now we have to collect money from everyone.”

First they went to Sarala’s house where they got 200 rupees. Then they went to Abhiram, then Narayan, then Ram, then Manika, then Venkat and finally to Sarita‘s house from where they got 150 rupees from each house.

They went to Baba Tatagaru’s house where they got hundred rupees.

Then they went Krishnaya Tatagaru’s house where they got 120 rupees.

Then they went to Maliya ammamma (grandma) house where they got 50 rupees.

Balaji tatagaru, Jyoti ammamma, Ayyaparao tatagaru and many more gave us 100 rupees each.

Vishnu tatagaru lived in a big house. He is a big miser. He gave us only 5 rupees and said an unpopular dialog that was – ‘ENJOY’

We managed to collect approximately 4,000 rupees.

We were very happy. And we were waiting to spend all the money the NEXT DAY.

It had been 8’00pm so everybody went to their respective houses.

All dreaming what will happen tomorrow.

 ------------------------------------------------------
2nd Day...
Date: 13 Jan’ 2011

This day everyone have been sleeping till 12 noon as everyone wanted to spend all night without sleeping.
First one to wake up was Sarala. She woke up all others. No one that day ate breakfast. They directly ate lunch and came out. Laxmi Aunty is a dance teacher in Kandikupa. She came to Dontikuru and taught the girls how to dance. The boys were planning what to do in the evening. They planned to buy kerosene from Katerikona and order Chicken Biryani from Amalapuram.

It was 6’00pm so all of them went to their houses and dressed up in nice clothes.

Narayan and Ram went to Prakash annaya’s house to take the biryani which they had got from Amalapuram.
All the children gathered at 7’00pm at Babji Tatagaru’s house. There was a big place where all the people could gather and children could dance.

First they lit the candles and placed them in a circular shape and every plate was placed under one candle. They began to eat the Chicken Biryani with raita and some soup. All the children were shocked to see Narayan eating plate after plate even being so thin. Everybody was clear that Narayan liked biryani very much.

After some time many people started coming.

The children had already brought two speakers and DVD player from Subash uncle’s house at 4’00pm.
They started playing the DVD with the first song of the movie ORANGE (a telugu movie). All the children started dancing with the first song Sydney Nagaram (a song from Orange). Narayan was the star of that day. He was the best dancer of that day.

Abhiram is a master in Western dance and robotic dance. He danced solo in songs like Orange lo ni O Baby (a song from Orange) and Zoom Zoom Roboduck (a song from Robot {a hindi movie}).
Sarala, Sarita and Manika danced for songs like Jorsey and Dheera Dheera (a song from Magadheera {a telugu movie}).

Venkat danced only in group dances as he did not know how to dance.
Ramkrishna was a hit maker in dances of songs My Love is gone and I Love You (both songs of Arya-2 {a telugu movie}).

After the dances Ramkrishna revealed his unknown talent of mimicry.  He imitated the voices of Rajashekar Reddy (ex-chief minister of Andhra Pradesh), Chandra Babu Naidu (ex-chief minister of Andhra Pradesh).
It went on till 11:30 pm. It was a big hit and all of them enjoyed. They got big applause from everyone. After the program and entertainment the children shouted loudly ‘Dontikuru Rocks and Dontikuru Rock Stars rocked it’.After that everyone left the place except the children and Prakash annaya.

After some time Venkat’s and all the girls’ parents came to take their children away. Only Narayan, Abhiram, Ramkrishna and Prakash annaya were allowed to spend all the night without sleeping. They did not sleep till 12’00am by playing carom board.

 ------------------------------------------------------
3rd Day... Part 1
Date: 14 Jan’ 11

The children were still awake at 12’00am also.

As the mosquitoes were coming in through the windows because of the tube light. They switched off the light.

After some time they heard some sound coming from outside.

It grew and grew. Abhiram went up to Prakash annaya and asked him what it was.

He said, “It must be a stray dog.”

“No, I don’t think it is a dog. I think someone is there to steal our wood.” said Narayan.

They were all afraid by this thought. They quickly switched on the light.

They saw some faces near the place where they stored the wood.

Ram recognized them with ease and said, “Hey Manu annaya, what are you doing here?”

“Err… nothing. We only came here to see that all of you are asleep or not.” said Tintu annaya who was standing with Manu annaya.

“How can we be asleep when guys like you are wandering near our headquarters?”, said Abhiram.

“O sorry man. We running short of wood in our village so we decided to steal from your village.”, said Manu.

“I can tell you a place where you can steal the wood. Do you know Vishnu tatagaru’s house?”, asked Ram.

“Yes.”, they said.

“Then listen. They told us that they had five dead trees in their house. They also told us not to steal them and if so they would be very angry. Now you can silently go to their house and steal all the 5 trees. You can keep 4 trees for you but we must get one for us.” said Ram.

“Yeah, it’s a nice deal. It’s OK.” said Tintu.

They left our headquarters and went to Vishnu tatagaru’s house.

After  half an  hour they came back to our house and kept two dead trees there.

They said, “You were wrong. There were 7 trees there. We managed to get all of them without making a single noise.”

“Thank you guys.” said Prakash annaya.

They left to their houses.

After some time Ram felt sleepy. He said, “Please wake me up in another half an hour. But after half an hour when we tried to wake him up he would say that he wanted to sleep another 5 minutes. After 5 minutes when we tried again to wake him up he would say that he wanted to sleep 5 minutes more. So no one now tried to wake him and allowed him to sleep all the day peacefully.

Abhiram took out his PSP which he had brought to play if he was bored. He and Narayan started playing the game Need For Speed. They played with it for 1 hour while Prakash annaya was seeing news in his mobile LG Optimus 1.

Then Abhiram showed Narayan and Prakash annaya his IPad and showed its applications. They played the music in Abhiram’s IPod for half an hour.

After managing some time pass with the gadgets, they looked at the clock. It was 4:30 am. Prakash annaya first went out of their head-quarters.

He came back in 5 minutes and said most of the elders have come out of their houses. He also said that Subash uncle has asked us to bring the dry wood out of the head-quarters to near the village well. He asked them to wake up Ram quickly.

They woke up Ram quickly and asked him to help him them in carrying the wood out of the head-quarters.
The girls had also come out of their houses to see the Bhogi Bonfire. They also helped the boys in carrying the wood near the village well.

When they kept the wood just beside the well, some people saw it and asked to move the wood and keep it at a distance from the well.

Soon all the people of our village had gathered near the village well. The boys arranged the wood properly and put kerosene on the wood . Subash uncle lighted a match-stick and threw it on the wood.
At once a big fire came from the woods. The children and some people gathered some branches and some dry fur from the coconut seeds and threw them in the fire. The children danced around the fire.

Then it was the time for throwing the Bhogi Danda (a garland made of cow dung). Everybody first went to their houses to have a bath and quickly returned to the Bonfire and threw the garlands into the fire. Everybody except Venkat threw the garland with ease. Venkat was very afraid of the fire.

Venkat said to his mother, “Amma (mother), Can you please throw this garland for me.”

Narayan said, “Venkat close your eyes and throw it. You will not feel anything.”

Venkat just did what he was told. The garland went flying into the fire.

Venkat said, “Amma, has it gone to the fire.”

His mother said, “Yes my dear it has gone.”

All of them clapped for Venkat. He was feeling like he was the hero of that day.

After some more minutes all the people went to their respective houses. Abhiram, Narayan and Ram were so tired that they quickly went to their house and laid on the bed till 1’00 noon.

They were dreaming what enjoyment awaiting for them once they wake up.

A bearded man with cool sunglases was driving a bike without a helmet. A police chief named Vikram Sethi saw  the man and caught him. The bearded man started begging the police to leave him.

“Police Saheb ji mujhe chod dijiye.”(Sir please leave me)

Vikram said, “Tum bas tin mahine jail me raina. Uske ke bad me tumhe chod duga.”(You stay in the jail for only 3 months. Then I will leave you)

“Aisa mut boliye. Or koyi rasta nahi he kya.”(Don’t say like that. Is there no other way.)

“Or koyi rasta? Soch raha hue.” (Another way? I am thinking)

After a minute of thinking Vikram said, “Ek rasta to he.” (One way is there)

“Kaisa rasta?”(Which way)

“Bhai, mujhe bus todha sa cut chahiye”(Brother, I only want  some money)

“Kitna?”(How much)

“Bus  800 rupiye.” (Only 800 rupees)

“Itna jada?”(So much)

“Jail se to behter hai ya nahi?”(Much better than jail or not)

“Thic he.”(Okay)

The bearded man gave the money and went his way.

After 2 days...

“Vikram Sahab ji, Apko S.P.(Superintendent of police) ji police station me ane ka aadesh diya he.”(Vikram sir,  S.P. has gave order to you to come to the police station)

Vikram went to the police station. There the S.P. was sitting with bearded man, who Vikram had stopped for not wearing an helmet.

“Excuse me Sir, why did you call me?”, said Vikram

S.P. said, “You are resigning.”

“Why sir.”

“Do you know who this man is?”

“No sir.”

“Don’t you know him you lier. He is the man by who you had asked 800 rupees instead of putting him in the jail.”

“Year....”

“His name is Rajiv Khana. Do you know who he is?”

“What.? Is he the Home minister? But when saw him the T.V. he had no beard”
The bearded man suddenly hold out his beards and tore them. The beards were artificial.
The man said, “Now do you recognise me?”

Vikram said, “Yes.”

“I wanted to catch the corrupt police and I had planned all this with the S.P. who I found that he is not corrupt but a man with honesty and good virtues. I hope more polices will be like him. Then only India will free from corruption and will become a rich country”

LOST IN THE DREAM OF FAIRY LAND
                                                                                        -Edida Meher Manish
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

I had a Dream,
In which I had a Dream,
That I was in a wonderfull Land,
Which is known as Fairy Land.

I saw a Fairy King,
Who was Singing,
About his dear Fairy Queen,
Who was sitting in her  room with her Twin.

I saw a Elf,
Who was crying for his dieing Friend Elf.
I called a Witch-Doctor who could Cure,
Because he was the  best doctor who could heal a wound for Sure.

I saw a Giant Man,
Who was fighting with another  Giant Man.
I asked them Why,
But they told me a Lie.

I woke up in my Dream, (I was still dreaming)
And had an Ice-Cream,
And  again I went to my dream,
To countinue my Fairy Land Dream.

Night Fright

Night Fright
                                                                                        - Edida Meher Manish

---------------------------------------------------------------------
Shily and Shineetha are twins who lived in a lonely big two storey building with their parents. They had no neighbours near their house. Shily and Shineetha  were 12 years old.

Once their parents wanted to go to the wedding of their friends. They had left the two twins in the house as to look after their house.

They  switched on the television and started watching a T.V. program “CID” in “Sony”. After it got over they switched off the T.V.

Then Shily heard a sound of clanging in the kitchen. She said to Shineetha, “Did you hear that noise from kitchen. I think a thief it trying to come in.” “I also think that but we should not let the theft to happen”, said Shineetha.

“But how.”

“We can call 100 to the police. They will catch the thief.”

“But we are not sure.”

“Then let’s see what is making that noise.”

“Are you a fool. If there is really a thief and if he sees us, he will kill or kidnap us.”

“Then let’s phone mom and dad.”

“Mom and Dad will call the police if we tell them this. Morever  we are big kids and we are going to be teens. We should solve this by overselves like CID people.”

“Then let’s silently go to the kitchen with pindrop silence and see who it is.”

“Let’s do that.”

They both silently went to the kitchen. Shily suddenly felt the cool fresh night air on her  face. Then Shineetha also felt the cool breeze.

Shineetha said,“I think the thief  had opened the window and that was the reason of the clang! clang!”

“Let’s quickly close the window and run.”

“Who will close the window. I will not close the window.”

“Me too.”

“Let’s go to the bedroom and call our parents.”

“I also agree to this.”

Shily called her parents in the phone and said,” Dad a theif is in the compound of our house. Please come home quickly. We are very afraid of the thief.”

They sat on the bed holding their arms tightly and sat for an hour. Nearly after two hours we heard the ting! tong! sound of the bell.

They ran very fast to reach the door. Thier parents were standing there.
Mom said, “Where is the thief?.”

Shily said, “I don’t know. He has not entered the house.”
Dad asked,”How did he look?”

Shineetha said, “We didn’t see him, but we saw the kitchen window open and heard the noise of some utensels which fell down near the.”

Mom said, “No thief has come to our house.”
“What?” We all asked

“Yes, I forgot to close the window in the kitchen and the utensels must have fallen because of the strong wind outside which  might have got in from the window.”

The Ghost In Black Dress

THE GHOST
IN
BLACK DRESS

Edida Meher Manish

This is my debut book. Please share your valuable thoughts. I am grateful to my parents, uncle and grandparents for encouraging me to write books.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1
I can’t forget this day. Hello, my name is Alex and I am 10 years old.

I was going to my friend’s house to have a chat about his health as he had not come to school. When I reached his house I saw a man who had covered his whole body with black clothes. I could not see his face as he had also covered it with a black mask. I heard the sound of a door banging opposite my friend’s house. After some time it stopped. I was afraid to go up and see what is happening so I did not climb up the stairs and go up.

After an half an hour I guess, when no one came out of the house. I took some courage and went inside to find out what had happened when the man went inside the house.

The door was open, so without any hesitation I went inside the house to find out what had happened.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2
I saw blood all over the marble floor of the beautiful house and thought of leaving the house. I saw a horrorible scene first time in my life. The heads are missing from the bodies of the residents of the house. It was neatly cut out. I could not find the heads of the people near the body nor in the room.

At once I sprinted to my house without a backward glance. I think I ran faster than a Ferrari.
When I was sleeping I had a dream that the man who had covered his body with black clothes had come to me. He slowly opened his black mask which he was wearing. To my horror he had no head and it was as if his head was invisible.

I woke up in the middle of the silent night because of the nightmare. I saw a man who was wearing black clothes banging the window. I quickly switched on the light. I neither saw nor heard anything after switching on the light till I was completely asleep.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3
When I woke up in the morning I heard my father telling my mother in the other room that 7-8 mysterious deaths have taken place since yesterday. The investigators couldn’t identify their faces as their heads chopped off and were not found.

I went to my grandparent’s house. I told my grandpa who is 84 years old about my yesterday’s experience and the news.

He said, “I think it is King Musta”. I asked him who he was. He told me the whole story.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4
“Once upon a time, when the world was ruled by kings and queens. There lived a good, wise and best of all he was very handsome king named Musta. He was the most handsome man ever lived on earth. He was so renowned for his beauty, all the eswanted to marry him. All the other kings were very jealous of his beauty that they all plotted to kill him. They assigned a courtier of King Musta to kill him in return of a huge sum of money. The courtier silently went to the bedroom and gave some money to the bodyguards. As the bodyguards were corrupt so they let the courtier go to the king’s room. Without waiting for another second the courtier dragged out his sword and killed King Musta.”

“Then what happened”, I asked grandpa.

Grandpa said, “I did not finish my story. His body was destroyed but his spirit did not die. His spirit separated from his body and killed the courtier with his powers. His spirit went to the forest where an evil magician lived. He wanted to get back his life by whatever means. So without any second thought he went to the evil magician’s cave. The evil magician accepted to give his life but the king had to accept his three conditions. First condition was to become very evil. The second condition was to sacrifice his head. And the last and deadliest condition was to kill any human with his head cut exactly at his beginning of his neck everyday or his body will get self destroyed. He agreed to these conditions as he was helpless and he was ready to do anything to get his life back. After getting back his life his hunger and thirst had vanished with his head. He then imprisoned his bodyguards and some of his courtiers who proved to be unfaithful and kill one of them every day. He started harassing everybody in his kingdom. As everybody was afraid of him now they left the kingdom. King Musta could not kill anyone now as there were no people left in the kingdom to kill. So to save his life he left his kingdom and went to a forest and killed everyone who came to that forest. After a year or two everyone believed that the forest was a haunted by some evil spirit so no one came to that forest”.
Then I asked, “Then again in fear of his life he might have settled in another place and after some years he might have changed his place and must have settled in another place and after many changes he might have landed in New York. Can this be true?”

“May be,” guessed his grandpa.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5
I half believed and half doubtful. But I did not know what could have happened really. Nothing is in our hand. I thought that we must believe some myths or legends in a situation like this. At that moment, I suddenly saw a man dressed in pure black clothes. He had covered his face with some black cap or something. I started screaming. One person came to me to know what had happened. I pointed towards the man covered with black clothes and shouted, “He is the murderer”. The man covered with black clothes and looked at me and pulled over his black cap and to my astonishment he was just an ordinary man, not the ghost which I was expecting.

He frowned a little and said. “What did you say? I look as if I am a murderer?” Sorry sir I just thought you were…,” I stopped. All the people nearby were looking at me as if I was mad. The man covered in black cloths said, “ I was what?” Nothing sir, but forgive me.” I said this as I was ashamed in front of many people around me. They thought I was suffering from some phobia. After some time, an uncle of mine came there and heard about all the commotion I caused, so he took me home in his car.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6
I was feeling miserable at home. I couldn’t think anything except the ghost. I lost my appetite and thirst. I couldn’t sleep properly. Wait a second; I said that I couldn’t sleep. That was wrong. I had a very sound sleep undisturbed.

I woke up early the next morning and left to school. Today I decided to change the route for the school. I decided to go to school through a small forest, which was a shortcut to my school. There was no good path in the forest and the ground was very marshy.

I could tell by the condition of the forest that it was not visited by any one for more than thousand years.
I went into the forest so carefully that I couldn’t hear any sound such as the sound of the birds chirping or the sound of branches rubbing with each other.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
7
Suddenly I saw something. It looked like a model of a pyramid built by someone who lived thousands of years ago. I went nearer to it to see it clearly. I bent on it and touched it.

After barely half a second, the whole pyramid started to rise. I could see a structure emerging out of the ground. When it completely emerged from the ground, it looked somewhat like a old haunted castle.

I was scared and ran fast towards my school. I think I did not hear a thing said in the class as I had been thinking about only two things at that time. One about the castle and the other about the ghost.

I told my friends about the castle but they didn’t believe my story. They all asked me to show the castle to them then only they will believe my story. I told them that they were doing something very wrong but they insisted. I couldn’t do anything but to go with them. One of my friend was a son of a captain of Army and he was gifted a gun by his father on one condition that he wouldn’t harm anyone. He had accepted the condition and had got that gun on his birthday. He brought that gun with us as he was afraid of wild animals (not so wild enough as a tiger or something but still dangerous).

We all went intothe forest and I showed them the castle but to my surprise the castle did not appear haunted as it was in the morning but a neat, clean and royal castle. It was as if the castle was cleaned in no time.

There was a big gate which was widely open. So, we went inside it without any hesitation. As soon as all the children were inside the castle, the gates were closed by itself with a bang. All the nerves of our bodies have become straight.

Then we heard the wild laughter. It was coming from the staircase ahead of us. A man dressed in black clothes was seen by all the children. He said, “Ha ha ha.. so you have all come to the castle of almighty king Musta also known as THE GHOST IN BLACK DRESS. Do you have any last wish?” By the time he was saying this I went under a dressing table to hide. He came down flying and in a second and all the bodies of the children had dropped on the floor and their heads were cut at their beginning of their neck. The gun fell right opposite to me. The ghost was saying. “Where is the cute little leader of this batch hiding.”

The gun which had fallen from my friend was lying a few centimeters away from me which gave me some confidence so without any second thought I picked up the gun and stood up as a hero and said, “ The person you are searching is in front of you.” So there is the confident child, who is thinking that he could kill this almighty with that stupid gun,” said that ghost. I shot him several times but only heard the laughter of the ghost.
The bullets in the gun got over. The ghost started walking towards me, I started to walk backwards. I went on backwards and backwards. And then suddenly turned around and started to run towards a door, which was the closest door to me. He said, “ You are going to die as you are going to the door of the death.” He stopped at that moment itself and stood watching me. I kept on running and pushed the door and I suddenly could not feel the floor beneath me.

At the moment I thought I was flying so I watched my foot. To my horror I saw that there was water beneath me and I was falling into it. I panicked as I didn’t know how to swim. A second later, I came to know that the room was filled with poison as the air in the room was green in colour and my body turned into blue. I was dying with the poison, “ No it can’t be” I said “nooooooooooooooo…”

“Noooooooo….,” I was screaming. My mother came to my room and said, “Don’t say you had another nightmare. You have been having nightmares for the last two years. I think you shall be seen by doctor. Here drink some water and sleep.” “Thank you, mom. I will try to sleep well and good night,” I said. “Good night son,” said my mother.

I woke up in the morning. I looked at the newspaper and I sat frozen. 7-8 mysterious deaths have happened and their couldn’t be identified as their heads were missing from the bodies.

THE END
